Located in the heart of Kolkata, Modern High School for Girls is a sustainable learning hub designed to inspire students while addressing urban challenges. AIS Glasxperts played a key role in bringing this vision to life with advanced glazing and door solutions that enhance functionality, safety, and aesthetics.

The Project: Smart Design for an Urban Setting

The school features thermal-glazed aluminum doors and solar-controlled glass windows, ensuring energy efficiency, temperature regulation, and noise reduction—critical for its busy location.

The Approach: Safety Meets Innovation

We installed fire-resistant doors for safety, high-rise entrance partitions, and aluminum glazing for an open, welcoming feel. Skylights brighten the atrium and classrooms, enhancing natural light and energy efficiency.

The Execution: Precision in Every Detail

Strategic glass partitions promote fluid movement and dynamic interaction, supporting the school’s IB curriculum. Our glazing solutions also optimize air quality and reduce energy consumption, inspired by traditional Indian Gurukul designs.

With column-free classrooms, solar panels, and rainwater harvesting, the school sets a benchmark for eco-friendly architecture. It earned the Platinum Mark from the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC)—a testament to its excellence in sustainability.
